I just can’t believe the ridiculous 1 star reviews!! They are absolutely inaccurate and have to be the work of trolls or were accidentally put on the wrong site. Chesterbrook Academy is one of the best, if not the BEST school in this area. This is our 9th year at CBA and we love being here. It has become our second home. I have 2 kids that have graduated from here and are in high school, and another who is in the 5th grade. The small sizes at CBA enable the teachers to spend lots of time with the my kids and cater to their individual needs. Over the years, there have been teachers who have worked on the weekend, to send me work sheets for my child to help him understand concepts that he was not getting in class. The teachers and the Ms. Soto are PHENOMENAL!!! They go above and beyond what is expected of them and ALWAYS have the children’s best interest at heart. They are always available to discuss any issues at anytime. This school fosters and nurtures the ‘whole’ child and it has empowered them to develop their own sense of self and confidence to take on anything and see it through. My 3 children have completely different personalities, and I have seen them excel at CBA and today they are using the skills they have learned here in all aspects of their lives. Enrolling my kids at CBA was the best decision for my whole family. This is an amazing school and to anyone considering this school, please feel free to get in touch with me. You can contact the school and they will pass the message to me. I would love to talk to you!
Chesterbrook Academy is the best. My family and I researched and/or toured every private school in the area to find a place where our very different children could thrive. We are now in our 3rd year at CBA-Sterling, and we could not be happier. The small class sizes and individualized lesson plans have helped my children excel academically. Best of all, they LOVE going to school and learning. My two boys and one girl are very different socially. Two are extroverts that want to socialize with everyone they meet. The other is a quiet introvert that wants to be more social, but doesn’t always know how. His first grade teacher was amazing and quietly helped him connect with his classmates. Early in the school year, he went from walking by the fence alone at recess to joining games and making meaningful friendships. The Chesterbrook staff truly cares about the entire child. I don’t understand the negative reviews posted; as an involved parent at the school and frequent attendee at birthday parties (to which the entire class is typically invited), I have only witnessed inclusive, kind behavior. In our three years here, none of my children has seen or even heard of a violent act occurring at school. I’m also confused about the comment regarding kids who are “different” – the kids here are all different. The school celebrates different abilities, cultures and talents; I would have difficulty describing a “typical” child here. That’s part of what I love about the school. Unique individualism is celebrated.
