Chesterbrook Academy Cotton Grass has been such a blessing in our family’s life! There are not enough words to express our love for this school!

To start Brenda and Anita, the school’s administrators, are such wonderful women who adore all their students. They go above and beyond to make their students’ feel comfortable and to get to know the families that attend their school. They also support their staff members by lowering student ratios when needed and giving their teachers an extra hand at a moments notice. They check in with teachers continuously throughout the day and from what you can tell, they genuinely care for and treat each staff member/teacher with respect. The teachers seem truly happy!

The school has many opportunities for you to feel a part of their community! We loved Chesterbrook’s Thanksgiving Dinner where the staff cooked for all the of the families that attended so we could eat together in our child’s classroom. They hold events for parents to come and read to their child’s class, host a Valentine’s Day party, do a school trick or treating event, and much, much more.

The teachers at Chesterbrook are nothing short of amazing! They are loving, kind, compassionate, and caring. Ms. Afsoon is a standout human and teacher. We have never met a more patient woman who deeply cares for her students. Not only does she love each student beyond measure, she creates a sense of belonging for her students. My child absolutely loved being at school each day, made many real friendships, and learned so much academically and developmentally. My child felt safe and cared for, which in our opinion is the most important thing you could ask for in a classroom. We owe so much growth in our child to Ms. Afsoon and the teachers of Chesterbrook! We’d like to also shoutout Ms. Shahana, the infant room lead teacher! Her outstanding care as our child’s first teacher ever will never be forgotten.

We have since moved and do not attend Chesterbrook any longer. It was a very hard goodbye because of all that Chesterbrook Cotton Grass has done for our family! If you’re considering this school, we 110% recommend!

Earlier this year, two of our children started attending Chesterbrook. At different times, they were both fortunate to be in Ms. Julie’s class. We cannot speak highly enough of Ms. Julie as she has been an exceptional teacher. She has consistently gone above and beyond to provide our children with the comfort and support they needed, both in the morning when we dropped them off and throughout the day.

Our children experienced significant separation anxiety for several months, but because of the dedication of Ms Julie’s care made a tremendous difference in helping them cope. She created a warm and welcoming environment that eased their fears and made them feel safe and secure. Whether it was through gentle reassurance, engaging activities, or personalized attention, Ms. Julie consistently demonstrated her commitment to our children’s well-being.
At all, Ms.Branda, Ms. Anita and all Chesterbrook stuff are caring and kind.
