My son has gone to Chesterbrook Academy for the past two years. He started in Pre-K and then when public schools went to virtual learning, they started a Club Connect group to help with the current learning model. Chesterbrook is amazing! The teachers are caring, engaged and they work with the students to get them more than prepared for Kindergarten. My son loved the activities and learned so much in his Pre-K year! The participation for families, the holiday celebrations, the crafts and the curriculum is top notch and so reassuring for parents. The Club Connect program has been amazing!! The teachers have pivoted to learn the technology to help support the kids and their K teachers online. They engage the students during Independent Study times and during breaks as well as before and after online school. They are supporting what the kids are learning and practicing with them as well as helping parents in this different time. Their protocols have been fantastic and very straight forward and we have felt at ease during the entire time they have been open. I cannot stress enough what great teachers and administrators they have here! They are communicative and hands on and my son has had a fantastic experience as have I!!
My sons have both gone to Chesterbrook since 2018. I feel that the curriculum and staff well prepared my oldest for Kindergarten. My youngest required an IEP and the principal and his teachers worked with me and his therapist to help him have a successful school experience. The teachers also communicated with their father and I on a regular basis regarding their behavior so we could help reinforce at home. As an elementary school teacher myself, I felt their teachers were well trained and the curriculum was well rounded. I was also very impressed with how well my child did when he transitioned to Kindergarten. I highly recommend this preschool!
