I like the school for the safety. Hands down I don’t think you could find a safer school in Chicago.
They know who is in the building at all times and where they are.
No one is roaming the hall without purpose.
The school work keeps your kid very busy.
I only have a couple of gripes though. The principle is not always available and pushes things off on office staff.
The kids aren’t given an apology if an adult is found to have made a mistake about something.
What’s wrong with saying I made a mistake? Its a responsible thing to do.
Yes they are very anal about the rules. Just do your work and follow the rules and you shouldn’t have a problem. It’s a good school, but they’re very tough on discipline. It keeps things moving smoothly.
I never hear of fights going on in the school they don’t have time for it.
My daughter hated it here when she first started. She even started the process to leave, but begged to come back hours after getting to the new school which had everything she thought she wanted.
She is much happier back at Bulls.
Hope this helps someone if they’re thinking of sending their child here.
Follow the rules and you won’t have a problem. Your child will be safe and well educated.
They have a tough policy on bullying as well, you won’t find that here. They will stomp it out right before it can get started. That is number one in my book.
I was a student at this school, when i first heard about this school i wanted to come here. On the first day i got in trouble for having my phone in my pocket,i got a detention for it,the principal warned other kids to put theres away,i didnt get no warning i got a detention instead.this school is too strict,u can get in trouble for saying sorry to a person, i also got lasalle which is like detention every day for having incomplete homework, my parents checked my homework and saw it was complete, lasalle lasts for 45 mins u can get a lasalle for not putting ur name on ur homework, they also give out demerits for stupid stuff,i got a demerit for putting my hand on my face,i stayed there for 2 weeks and then i transfered to a new high school that is way better then this school, i do not recommend this school to no one.
Endless opportunities for students if they really want it. It’s a family affair, parents have to help their teens become responsible, on time & disciplined. My daughter has taken 3 AP classes and 5 Honors classes, spent 3 weeks at a university through Summer of a Lifetime program, and part of many collegiate scholars clubs and opportunities. Fitness is very important as well as hell and wellness. Great athletes in the sports department. Yes, they are strict and very disciplined, a lot of students transfer because they cannot handle it, but if you want quality education with a lot of support from teachers and faculty, and endless opportunity to support your teen through high school, I highly recommend the Noble Charters, especially Bull College Prep!!!
