Chickadee has been a wonderful place for my daughter! She started when she was 9 months old, she is currently 3.5, and I have nothing but good things to say! She LOVES going to school each day, and cries when she is sick and can’t attend school. Her classroom does lots of fun activities from weekly yoga, monthly Audubon visits, visits from the Children’s Museum and Theatre of Maine, a yearly visit from a firetruck, weekly music class, and so much more. Her teachers are so attentive and caring and do a great job of updating me about her day through their app, Brightwheel. Every employee, from teachers to managers, have been so kind, warm, caring and honest. Would definitely recommend!!!!!!
We have had a wonderful experience at Chickadee. Our daughter is now 17 months old and has been attending for about 5 months. The teachers are kind, open, and honest, and the communication with the administration has been a breeze and super responsive. We are so relieved to be a part of this amazing care team – you aren’t just dropping your child off to a room where they are stuck all day – they got outside all the time, go for walks, paint, sing, read, etc. – so many activities. It’s a really great experience for our daughter, and very pleasant for our family.
We are so happy to have our child enrolled at Chickadee! We have had a very positive experience. All the teachers are so warm, caring, and professional, and our child really looks forward to each day there. The teachers and admin are very attentive, they create themes and lesson plans for each month, and they also keep us informed of happenings throughout each day through an app. They also try to foster community through social events so that parents can meet each other, and a great PTO has started. Chickadee is a wonderful childcare center!
