Your satisfaction will likely depend on what you are seeking. We have been very happy bringing our son here as a kindergarten prep option. While other places gave him good care and lots of options for energy-expenditure, Children’s Choice has given him far more skills and character traits. The focus on both practical life skills and academic skills have made him more competent in all areas, and he was quick to begin with. The teachers are caring and consistent with their approach, which is more meaningful to students than anything. The playtime is enough to hold over our rambunctious child, but not as much as less academic centers. Really, this is more of a caring school than a daycare, so choose which you are looking for.
My son LOVES coming here each and every weekday morning. He always tells me he wishes he could stay at school longer. He learns many things, such as months of year, days of the week, as well as proper manners. He’s almost 4, but I think Children’s Choice Montessori is giving him a great start for the rest of his school years. The teachers treat my son as if he were their own. Great school! I only wish they would offer a night once a month where parents can drop off their child for a few hours and have a date night!
My son loves his school and classmates! He quickly adapted to the routine and it has prompted a routine at home as well. He “works” on one activity at a time and cleans up afterwards. The “practical life skills” lessons have him helping around the house. He has a sense of responsibility and independence that he wasn’t getting from his previous day care. I’m so pleased with Children’s Choice school, the teachers and the Montessori approach!
