Recommendation: Only sending your kid here if they are able to talk and explain to you what happens.
Pros
– They open at 6:30 am. Places around this area opens at 7am.
– They though events for the family and invite parents to classroom parties.
Cons
– Corporate info is not accessible to report the school without going through the school.
-There are cameras but not accessible to parent. I was told cameras are “not recording,” so they cannot rewind, but they was able to see if a teacher hit a child like allegations mentioned. It’s one-sided. My child comes home with scratches sometimes and no one knows how or when it happened or who did it.
– They NEVER turn sick children away regardless if they are contagious. This puts other kids and family at risk. School reason: builds kids immunity and allows parents to go to work.
– They ALWAYS allow the kids to play in the mud after it rains. This causes an inconvenience to the parents. My child have mud on jacket, pants, shoes etc, while the teachers stand on the concrete dry. They should have the kids be on the concrete with them and play games, since they are not stopping the kids from playing in the muddy areas.
– Christian school but none or very little christian lecture/lesson/activity.
– I’ve NEVER had a teacher parent conference. No one calls and I signed up NUMEROUS of time.
– Communication ALWAYS get lost when a message is given to the front desk. They NEVER relay messages. You can tell them in their face AND they can write it down, no follow through. No matter what measure of communication tool you use. You must stay on them if you want something done…right
– There’s a teacher shortage, which causes too many kids in classroom with one teacher at times, especially mornings.
– My child is always hungry at pick like meals aren’t fully eaten. The app never indicates if my child has eaten all, some or none of the breakfast, lunch and snack. This is an option on the app that a teacher can fill out. When asked about it, no one knows anything. It’s “I think” or “I wasn’t there.”
– Majority of the personnel knows my child by name but they do not have a relationship with my child like a teacher should know their student.
– The ProCare app or online service they made us use for all communications, staff and teacher do not use all the features. No pictures of your child each day. They stop clocking kids in and out of classroom when they change the rooms. They barely respond to message sent to them on the app. Currently, waiting on a reply and it is been 4 days.
– Certain children can bring outside food in the building to eat or eat outside feeding time.
– There has been many times that kids and/or staff hangout behind front desk and do not acknowledge the parents walking in “greeting them.”
– ProCare payment feature sometimes does not work.
– The Director’s outer exterior is not welcoming. She might be friendly, if you know her. However, looking outside in, she does not appear approachable and does not smile often.
– The school is no longer sending work home showing what my child is doing or learning in class. IE I got thanksgiving work at the end of April
– I personally heard a teacher call a kid a “liar” then changed her tone when she realized a parent is in the room and corrected herself and said “storyteller.”
– Saw a kid hit my child and I had to redirect the child. Teacher in the bathroom not paying attention to entire class.
– Tuition increase but service provided remain the same. At times I forget this is a school and not a daycare. Kids should be learning so much more.
My children have been attending Children’s Safari for 2 years now. I have had nothing but great experiences. My children feel safe and comfortable here, and are excited to tell me about their day EVERYDAY when I pick them up. That is the best feeling when you’re putting your trust in someone to help care for the most important pieces of you. Children’s Safari does a great job of mixing fun and learning for each age group. I noticed a difference in my children within the first week or two they started attending this school, and it just keeps getting better. It seems as if every employee in the school knows the names of both of my children and all their friends. Thank you for your kind and caring hearts, and for creating a safe, fun environment for our youth to learn and grow. Keep Rocking It!!
I am amazed by the Executive Director. I hope this is not an over share. I met her while she was in the hospital. She invited me to her school’s spring fling unfortunately my family and I did not make it but I was extremely amazed how she was in the hospital promoting her school.

She spoke on the cleanliness, curriculum and how proud she is of her team for the amazing support her staff has given her.

You could hear the love, compassion and determination she has for her families, school and company.

Ms. Latease I plan on visiting your school but I would like a personal tour from you!!

Your energy and spirit speaks volume! I am glad God placed you in my path!

Always Mrs. White
