Our sons couldnt have had a better introduction to their education than at The Childrens Workshop Montessori. Their space is welcoming, beautiful, and enriching. Besides their program which exceeds all expectations; the teachers do an excellent job in educating kids that are polite, well mannered, and well aware of the world around them. Our older son did the 3 year program and still loves when he has the chance to visit his teachers who he still loves. Our younger son is currently in second year and wishes school was open on weekends. It has been truly magical to see our sons so engaged and interested in learning. From reading, writing, history, biographies, math, art, music, and everything in between, kids are truly exposed to the world around them. It is amazing to see their work at school and in the folders they bring home every week. Our younger son is always so proud to show us what he completes at school and always has a story of what he learned. His brother was the same. Our family feels this school is the best kept secret and it will always have a special space in our hearts.
The Children’s Workshop has opened a whole new Universe of imagination learning for our child! From reading, writing, math, art, music, languages, history, geography, kids are truly encouraged to develop an early love of learning. We saw a dramatic difference after a year at the workshop: our daughter reads chapter books (!), she writes phrases and sentences, she has made huge progress in addition, subtraction and simple multiplication, she sings songs in Spanish, she recognizes works of the greatest painters, from da Vinci and Rousseau to Pirosmani and Pollock, she names and locates the continents and oceans; but, most importantly, she is much more polite, respectful and organized. I can’t say enough good things about each one of the talented teachers! The teachers are kind, supportive, very professional and knowledgeable, and the curriculum exceeds all expectations.
Highly recommend this school to anyone!
The Children’s Workshop is such a special and unique school! I always heard wonderful things about the program, and when our son started attending 3 years ago I got to experience the magic firsthand. The emotional growth was noticeable in the first few months, he gained confidence, patience, and a sense of community. The Workshop’s curriculum is also impressive and very creative. At age 5.5 he is already reading books, writing, and even doing math problems. The years between 3-6 are so formative and I truly get the sense that the skills hes learned at the Workshop have set him up for a successful future. Simply put – it’s amazing!
