Some of the teachers here were great, but unfortunately the main teacher in the infant room was just awful. Our son was in the infant room from about 4 months old to 10 months old. At drop off, she would take him from my arms and immediately put him on the floor crying and just walk away to go check him in. It was heartbreaking to leave him there screaming. He never wanted to go to her. It was better with other teachers, but there was usually no one else there in the mornings.
In the 6 months he was there, they never managed to get him to take decent naps. He would get maybe one 20-30 minute nap a day, which is not nearly enough sleep for an infant. Some days he’d be too exhausted when he came home to even eat dinner. Administration did try to help, but problems persisted and we ended up removing him from their care. There were other problems too. He is in another daycare now and adjusted really quickly, doesn’t cry during drop off, and takes great naps. So, the problem was never him — it was the teacher(s) and the environment at Childtime. He just needed some attention and to feel loved. I wish we had taken him out of Childtime sooner.
My children have been going to childtime for over 4 years now and we LOVE it. The teachers are like family and truly love the children. Highly recommend this daycare to everyone I know. Our kiddos love every single staff member there and it’s such a blessing to know my babies are in good hands. The app to stay in touch with parents is amazing as well!!
