This was my first experience with a daycare. To be honest with you it scared me from wanting to use another one. Multiple times I had dropped my two month off and there was only one teacher to around 6 babies. I noticed that she was going in the crib and only coming out to feed and then when I asked about it was told she wasn’t allowed to be out with other babies. I asked about tummy time and watched them on the camera pick her up put her on the play mat and take a picture and put her back in. I have gone to pick her up and when I get there she had been laying in her puke in a crib. It was in her ears and crusted across her face. I said something about that and she still continued to be put in the crib and left there. I thought for a little while that I was just being overbearing. I wasn’t I happened to look at the camera one day when I was at work and my daughter was in her diaper on the floor I didn’t think much of it and went back to work. Around three hours later I looked again and she was still naked I then texted and said something. The teacher then snappy walked over and got her clothes out of her bag and put them on her. They told me I was feeding my baby to much. That a two month old shouldn’t be eating 6 ounces every 4 hours. My daughter would return to my home starving. They do no work with the babies or at least not mine. I would have her doing new things at home on the weekend and it was like by the end of the week she would regress. The last week I had her in childtime I had came to get her and she had a scratch on her face and they tried to tell me it was from her rubber binky. I don’t know if these problems are due to them being understaffed but I will never recommend this daycare to anyone. I have found a new place and it’s a whole new world. My daughter is so happy and has accomplished more then she did in two weeks then almost 3 months with child time. Also the assistant directors husband shows up drunk stalking the front doors. I was scared to approach the door because I didn’t know who he was and he waited for me to put my code in and came in behind me and she made me aware that it was her husband. The man was completely intoxicated and had no business being up there around children or picking his own up. Please do not put your children in this daycare!!!!
UPDATE:
I still feel exactly the same way as I indicated in the original post. Our daughter is now in the toddler classroom and has been with this facility (second home) since she was 8 weeks old. We are happier with Childtime (Windmill Watch) than we ever knew we could be. This is a true community with loving, excited, thoughtful teachers (and an awesome director who takes the care and education of each child to heart). Love this place. We are so lucky to have them.

ORIGINAL POST:
Our 4-month old daughter has been in the infant room here for a few months now, and we really couldn’t be any happier. We toured 5 daycare centers and found the Childtime on Windmill Watch to be the friendliest atmosphere with teachers who genuinely care (and do so with a great sense of humor). As first-time parents, we were fairly nervous and didn’t know what we were looking for exactly. It just felt right, you know? Also appealing: great rates with automated payment options, outside play areas, fairly private setting on low traffic street (yet right off main route), clean, very accessible director and staff, hellos and goodbyes from what feels like the entire staff as we come and go each day, parents-night-out offerings… it’s just a nice little community where the kids come first. It’s a drama free group of women (and one man, I think). Thank goodness!! 🙂 We would recommend this center to any of our closest friends (and already have).
