For starters there is nothing stem related about this school but unfortunately it’s the closest school to get my kids to being that I work full time and have limited resources to send them elsewhere and have a way back home. They are very unprofessional and ghetto and bullying as a reflection of bad parenting is at a all time high and the bullied or provoked students get the same punishment as the aggressors unless of course you’re related in some way to the staff. Most of the staff will try to overtalk you into them being right and you being wrong and don’t like to hold conversation for long and will try to make you feel like you’re the type of parent to upholds your child when they’re wrong. This is not and has not been the case with our experience because my two boys are opposite each other when it comes to their approach to different situations and I teach them to take the high road but there are parents who don’t raise their kids that way and the kids come to school to bully and harass and want other kids to back down to them. Then when the other kids don’t and defend themselves or retaliate everyone is in trouble. I’m a parent that raises my kids to respect and not look down on others but when you come in your child’s defense or for understand the conversation gets real short. There are a few members of staff that pour and uplift the kids there but not the majority. If at all possible don’t send your child to this school.
My experience with Cirrus this year has been awful. Last year was an amazing year for my son, no behavior issues and top of his class. We went into this school year with the same expectation. We were completely let down. We have had ALOT of issues and honestly I was so fed up with the school but with so little time left in the year I figured we could make it but today was the last incident that I could accept. I picked my son up from school and when he got in the car he immediately began to cry. I figured it was because he had a bad day nope he tells me that he pooped on himself because he was not allowed to go to the bathroom. I was livid. I went in to inform the counselor that this was unacceptable I should have been contacted immediately. My son was humiliated. I took him home to shower and his underwear was FULL of feces. It was dried up all on his leg. This had to be sitting on him a minimum of TWO HOURS. Im disgusted with this school. I will be filing an official complaint and withdrawing him from the school. I encourage all parents to do the same. Use your voice and power because this should not be happening to our children. There is no reason a schedule should be that strict where a school is denying 6/7 year olds the right to use the restroom. I am disgusted and would recommend this school to NO ONE after my experience.
