This is a lovely school with a strong and supportive community, wonderful teachers and a strong sense of belonging. Great for families looking for a small tight knit community environment.
As someone who has lived in the area for 24 years and attended this school nearly 12 years ago I must say I’m absolutely appalled that they still don’t know who to handle bullying. It’s completely vile that they let allow threats and violence to continue with no repercussions now only to students but their families, honestly they should be disgusted within themselves. They go on about ‘expecting the children to be well behaved and well mannered’ but allow such things to happen. They don’t understand how detrimental bullying can be on such young children and their self-esteem. They ‘offer and teach social skills and offer them choices and positive options’ but are very quick to blame and turn it around onto the victim of the bullying and telling them that they are lying. I am absolutely disappointed. Not only do they disregard safety issues of the children that are in their care they also tend to exclude children and make them feel like they are at fault. Primary school is one of the most important foundations a child can have and this school has and is continuously to failing at creating a safe environment for the children in their care.
as an ex student, I didn’t really enjoyed this school. I thank god that I am no longer in this place. although I feel as this school gave me a pretty strong base.

Great school!
I started out in thier links and steping up program, it helped me get used to my surroundings and find friends before starting prep. Once I started prep my teacher was mrs hallowell. She was a true inspiration!
This school has every academic success and it may not be a well known school but It really achives things that popular schools may do.
It has many victories in all subjects like, sports comps, spelling bees, writting comps, math comps, music ensemble/performing group, dance group, choir senior and junior,drama, friendship clubs, disability help, EAL, and much much more!
The subjects are set out well and efficiently. The teachers are a close knitt community just like the kids. School camps are with quallified camping programs . There are swimming activities too! New children fit in perfectly whether they be grade 6 or prep! We are a school of love and academic success.
I just graduated from this terrific school and I feel as if I have lost a beautiful treasure found in the depths of the bluee sea!
I thank you with all my heart Clarinda Primary School! I loved every single milisecond of it!
