Our journey at Clarlen Nursery School, amidst the pandemic, began with our 3-year-old enrolling in the 3s program. It continued through the 4s program, where our child was beautifully prepared for kindergarten. Clarlen is a hidden gem, providing exceptional individual attention from dedicated teachers who work wonders in fostering a nurturing, educational environment.

I’m delighted we found this school for our 3-year-old! I have 3 children (my oldest is now in college!) so have experienced different kinds of schools along the way. This is a small school where the teachers respond to each child warmly and personally. As children emulate adults, we have seen tremendous growth in our daughter both socially and in her ability to treat others in a way that is caring and conscientious. What is particularly special about this nursery school is how it is balanced between providing time for creative play and structured lessons. This first half hour is devoted to free play, which allows the young ones to acclimate in a relaxed environment before they begin their lesson of the day. The teachers provide lessons that are well-thought-out and organized that the children bring home. There are also field trips that are really fun for the kids (and parents!) but serve to educate as well. On the note about this being a non-sectarian school, I feel that this school can appeal to most people, regardless of faith. My husband is religious and I am not, yet we both feel that this is the right place for our child. Finally, even though this is a private nursery school, it does not have private school prices! The tuition is very affordable. 5 stars for Clarlen!

Excellent school, teachers are extremely warm and loving. My daughter made immense progress in this school. She has learnt good mannerisms, cute songs and alphabets. Projects made at school helped her build gross motor, fine motor and cognitive skills. This school is recommended 100%.
