Okay, so this is a school for students who have parents who expect their child to be perfect and never ever earn anything lower than an A on their report cards. Not gonna lie, there are some AMAZING teachers their like Mr.Miklos (8th grade science) and Mrs.T (guitar/orchestra), but there are some grumpy old teachers their to. Parents, just because it’s a FUNDAMENTAL school doesn’t mean it’s a FUN school, don’t make the mistake of sending a rebel child a rebel child with a free spirit to this school and expecting them to enjoy it, if they don’t enjoy it, they don’t pay attention and then they fail the weekly test. If you do send your kid their, never let them get school lunch, ive had the personal experiance of having to spit my food back onto the plate. NO ONE LIKES THE LUNCH. So ya let your kid decide if they want to go here.
I do not recommend this school for an average student. Your child has to be very smart and very on-top-of-things in order to be able to excel at this school. This is school is very strict! There are also some really nasty teachers (i.e. Mrs. Postler and Mrs. Slee). They can be condescending. Also, theres a rule about your ankles showing? You cant even walk down the hallway without being threatened with a detention about your jeans being rolled up too high. This school is very annoying and picky about everything. They focus on the smaller rules then your childs education.
Fantastic school! The staffs and teachers are so friendly and helpful since they don’t have to deal with bullies which this school seems to lack due to the high academic requirements. This is probably better than private school except it is free if your child is lucky enough to get in. They even have smoothies and ice cream for lunch! This school has the best learning environments hands down with flexible after school programs.
