I wish I had registered my Two Kids grade K and 1 into a different School. The Staff at this School is very rude and inconsiderate. The Second Week of School, my Kindergarten Child threw up in the Trash Bin during Breakfast. Other Students there went and told the School Nurse about my Child. No one made sure she actually went to see the Nurse. Another Child who also threw up during Breakfast went home with her Mother and somehow got her mixed up with my Child. No one bother doing a double check, or checking the Attendances to make sure that our Child did in fact go home with me. The Nurse marked her Absent, but her Teacher marked her Present. My Husband and I received an email (worst way to communicate with Parents if your Child is sick) from the School Nurse about our Child at 12:30 pm. Our Child threw up at 9 a.m. that’s almost 4 hours later and the Nurse didn’t even bother giving us a call! Our Child has a Medical Condition, that’s why she wears a Medical Bracelet. My Husband called me and ask if our Child was with me and I said, “No”! (PANICKED ATTACK) I rushed to School and spoke to the Nurse and I was not happy one bit! I told her that I nor my husband do not sit at a Computer at Work. We might not be able to get to a Computer in time, so please give us a call next time, and her response was, “that’s why I sent it to both of you”! (Totally unacceptable) Only until after I had picked up our Child from School, my Husband finally got a call from them that I had picked her up. The Principle had an ear full from my Husband. I’m seriously pulling them out mid-semester and putting them in a different School. *Parents beware*.
This school is a so so because the nurse is nice and my teacher is kind and I got a lot of friends but the staff in the school is not good because once I was seeing my friends playing “tag” in line so they had to talk to one of the staff and I thought that the staff was talking about recess so I joined the conversation because I was also playing tag in recess time then the teacher said I was being rude and talking back. Like c’mon all I did was stand up for my friends. Like what they always say in school . And another thing is that we CAN’T defend ourselves and they say “if something goes wrong tell a teacher” bruh what if there is no teacher then that means one thing. Self defense. So that’s all. Hope you guys can improve.
Great school, great teachers, strong learners. Very safe environment with a lot of actively involved parents and community. As for the nurse who was unable to satisfy the previous reviewers needs, she is a very kind lady who has to be the only nurse at a school of hundreds of students and staff due to budget. She is fully committed to helping the kids as I have experienced first hand! Way to go, Clive tigers.
