I went here as a child and my children went here. I had Mr. Ledbetter as principal and my children had Mr. Brittingham. He gets in there and acts like a big kid himself, which helps relate to the kids. Mrs. Yarbrough, who was assistant principal, is very helpful and to the point. She seems the no nonsense type. Good cop/bad cop scenario. All in a good way though. It’s a great school. The teachers are great. Mrs. Duncan was by far my kid’s favorite, although she may be retired now. Mrs. Edwards is a lovely person who will greet you at the door. They offer many programs and activities for children and parents to be involved in. If there is ever a problem they do their best to resolve it in a timely manner. I do recommend this school for new members of the community.
I want to thank the bus driver for getting my grandson home safely in the snow the other day. He was driving very carefully downhill with those kids. I had to say a little prayer for him driving in all that snow. I wouldn t even get my car out in that. I would have walked there if I had to as far as it is and cold as it was. So thank you again.
