The program at Clovis Elementary, for which we enrolled my son from another CUSD school so that he may get a better learning environment as been subpar to say the least. They have not updated the staf and personnel listing via web site, the official teacher for the class was not actually on site until 3 weeks into 2016-2017 school year, no one in the class communicates with me as promised on a semi regular basis.

The classroom dynamics are questionable. My son was attacked, in class, the 2nd week of school, by a classmate whom I found out has anger issues. The kid broke my sons brand new eyeglasses. Thank goodness for insurance. This fight was in class with, as told to me, at least 3 aides also in class. Unbelievable. There is more and I hope I will be able to amend this review to promote a more positive view in the coming months.

As a student who went here this place has a good environment for 4th grade and bellow but for 5th and 6th it’s pretty bad. Ai was in Mrs Volantis class and she definitely plays favorites and she also hated me for no good reason. I had Mr Bedwell as my 6th grade teacher though and he is the best all of the 6th grade teachers are really nice but the 6th grade students are definitely not and I was openly queer and these kids would make fun of me there is so many things they said that I can’t even count and the 5th graders are no different and they would also do the same to my friends no different just because we’re all queer so if your thinking about transferring your 5th or 6th grader here DONT
I love this school and so does my son. He’s been going to this school since kindergarten and is now in 5th grade. We’ve loved all of his teachers and are very happy with the progress in his education.
