I hadn’t known about this event until today. I was at Lake View Cemetery visiting, and they have a memorial stone there with all the names of the victims as well as some of the children and adults with head stones. Apparently they buried the unknown victims in Lake View Cemetery under that stone. After reading about this event while at Lake View I decided to come pay my respects at the location where it occurred. Such a sad and tragic event. Gave the memorial 5 stars because I’d suggest the custodial staff at the school behind it maintains the memorial and this memorial to those tragic events is impeccably kept up. It’s nice that it is. If you are not aware of the tragic fire that took place on the site of this memorial take some time to read up about it and pray for those poor kids teachers and families that had to suffer that event.
It’s not about the school. It’s about the memorial, which has shrunk down to an almost forgotten memory. 175 people died in that fire, where the present school stands, and the memorial should not be neglected or forgotten.
Horrible unprofessional teachers,
