People I’ve exchanged stories with including heads and board members at other private schools, board members at prestigious Universities like Notre Dame and Northwestern… the overall theme is an unqualified head of school with no education degree backed by a checked out board that is sitting idly by while he sells admissions spots to unqualified families who are either large donors or good athletes, not necessarily good students. Yes, applications are way up as half of the 8th grade class left last year and it sounds like the same is happening this year and this is mind you going into the brand new high school. Massive deterioration in the quality of the education, or as described by one Ivy League administrator, the school is “dumbing down.” Rampant bullying but if your check is large enough, your child can make threats or do whatever they want. Massive exodus of long time families and teachers who’s concerns go unaddressed by the head. No school wide survey in years as the board seems to be taking a “if you don’t like it go somewhere else approach,” deeply impacting the lives of children who used to be so cherished by old leadership… no longer. As for Mike Davis being “one of the most sought after heads in the nation,” well that certainly sounds like something he would tell people.
Hello dear readers,
I am a student at a nearby school, and I would just like to congratulate this fine establishment on their EXCELLENT desks. Here I will rate the different components of the chair and actual desk/table.
softness: 9/10
size:5/10
stability:7/10
over all comfort 10/10
Main rating: 8

note: this is exceptional compared to other schools desks, which range from 5s to 7s
