This school is very nice- while youre there with your kid. Once parents gone it turns into a prison. My child developed a chronic illness that had me in the school daily and I was able to witness some amazing injustices. Kindergarteners being scolded for not standing at the bathroom line with one foot on a line in the tile and facing forward with mouths closed . This school also is very far behind on homework policies, there is WAY TOO muc. The staff will take away recess for any slight infraction, but just a few minutes at a time so they can hold the threat through the day. This is also very old concept of discipline. The kids are never ever allowed to talk and I even saw a woman teacher enter the boys bathroom just to tell them they were not allowed to be talking. The staff have a few good people and here but for the most part they have an overwhelming lack of empathy, are mean to the kids and will keep them under their thumb all day long. Definitely do not recommend this s hook.
My daughter goes to CSCA. I am going give 5 stars to Mrs. Desotelle and Mrs. White, as well as Mrs. Melendez. But, I am going to give one star to CSCA. It is too much nepotism in this school. I do believe that there is indirect discrimination in this school. I will continue, for now, to keep my daughter at CSCA because she is is learning so many good things. But, I am hoping that things will change in future time. CSCA should not be allowed to have nepotism. Friends, family, PTO’ daughters and sons, cousins and nephews etc. It is inequality at CSCA. The Awards are awful, it reminds me of a Communism countries.
