Columbia School of English is FANTASTIC! My cousin from Belgium wanted to come to America to improve his English before applying to graduate MBA programs. We brought Albert to Seattle but were VERY disappointed by the quality of programs here. He wasted 6 months barely learning any English in a state university program where the teachers didn’t care about him or push him hard. We were desperate to find a good program in the Northwest, so we drove down to Portland to check out the schools. Columbia was by far the most impressive. Excellent facilities, small classes, teachers that are really caring, and a rigorous program too. CSE also offered GMAT prep classes, which really helped Albert. Isabella, Erin, Andrew, and Leslie really took care of Albert and now he’s getting an MBA at UCLA. I can’t thank CSE enough!
They don’t even deserve one star. In winter term 2014, they have one class for level 1 and 2!!! How can you explain the same material for two different levels?
If you are in Portland, I encourage you to study at PSU or ELS.
