I think that this school isnt useless and has benefits, but it need to be taken care of better. The staff literally doesnt let the students live a life full of opinions, and puts limits on everything. People are getting punished for the littlest of things, while people that are doing the “worst” things are being put into mental hospitals just for speaking out about their opinions. I don’t really know too much about rights that people have, but I know that this school cuts off many of our rights. Now let’s talk about bullying. Mallory Grossman is the example that sets the boundry between this school being bad, and this school being horrible. The students, the parents, and the staff were all trying to prevent a tragedy. However with this school being irrelevant and stupid, no body took into consideration what couldve happened In the future. The teachers are also pretty bad. There are a few particular students that are chosen as “favorites” by our teachers. Those kids get let off easy just because of our biased teachers. Meanwhile the kids that are even slightly worse students are getting yelled at for nothing, getting punished, and given lower grades due to the teachers being more strict and biased. I really hope the people reading this, even though the people running the school wont even look at this because they dont care about their students, will reflect on their actions, and think of how horribly this school is ruining people’s futures. Also, people are using up to $600 on just the school lunches in a school year, while they are eating microwaved trash with flavoring stuff on it. I honestly don’t even think that the lunches have any health benefit.

COPELAND MIDDLE SCHOOL IS ONE OF THE WORST CHOICES I HAVE EVER MADE FOR MY DAUGHTER. The staff here is absolutely ridiculous. They often accuse my child of cheating when they mark something incorrectly on a test, and my child tries to correct their mistake, because they don’t want to be wrong. The authority of the school will violate their privacy by making a fake Instagram account and checking to see if they post any pictures on the campus. If so, they print them out and file a detention, whether they wanted to be in the photo posted by another child or not. They also have something called Fitness Friday with intense workouts every Friday, and my child often comes home vomiting with a migraine, as do the other parent’s children. If the teachers notice two people becoming friends, they will immediately separate them in the remaining years at Copeland Middle School. They even hold meetings in the cafeteria for GIRLS ONLY, where they tell them that they have to change their looks because boys cannot control themselves. My daughter will get dress coded for showing too much of her back or shoulders. Instead of restricting girls, maybe they should start to teach boys that girls are not sexual objects, and they should be able to dress how they want. They say things like, “Oh guys will be guys…” but then why can’t girls be girls? To top it all off, when they finally got their budget OK’d, they decided to lay off a good portion of my child’s favorite teachers, in order to raise their own salary.
