I am 16 years old and finished with Corliss Driving School in December 2022. They really are the best! My mom kinda pushed me to get my license. I wasn’t ready when she wanted me to take the Corliss Driving School’s online education course, but I was glad she did because 6-months later I was wanting my license. Once I got my permit, I had my first lesson and I feel like I learned a lot. Then, my mom was teaching me to drive, but Mr. Corliss isn’t my parent; so, his instruction was different and I learned better from him. We drove all around Visalia during my 3 lessons; he taught me about lane position, checking my mirrors, knowing what’s going on around me, and I was just a lot better after working with him. I only had 2 mistakes on my behind the wheel test with DMV and they were my fault from being nervous. I really recommend using Corliss Driving School for learning to drive. If you listen to your instructor, you’ll learn a lot and you can be a really good driver.
Bill and Pam are such kind, caring people! I needed help driving again after I had a stroke that affected my non-dominate side. No one would help me with how to get started, not 3 different doctors and a physical therapist that specialized in driving! She referred me to Corliss school. I remembered having Bill as a teacher in high school, so I shot them an email. Pam returned my emails promptly, and had endless patience with my billion questions, even when she was on vacation! It took many months, but I am happy to say I am fully licensed again, and more educated with reading materials and a couple refresher sessions in the car with Bill.
