The Cornelia Connelly Center has helped me grow professionally throughout the last 2 years I’ve been employed. The staff is inviting and inclusive. I have found the professional development lessons to be eye opening and tackle topics of diversity, equity and asset based framing. As a former student it has been wonderful to see CCC improve throughout the years through the use of online enrichment tools like freckle, mathspace, and amplify. Overall, I have personally enjoyed working here as I feel celebrated and accepted.
This school has been part of the community for over 30 years; serving low income families, while providing young girls with invaluable opportunity. It is one of the few beacons of hope that the community they serve have to receive a fair shot at a high quality education, while supporting the young girl’s individuality and family values. It is a place open to all regardless of cultural, ethnic, religious and financial standing.
