I have been part of this school community for the past 9 years. It has been a most welcoming and encouraging environment for both my children and our family. I am sad that this will be our last year at the school. After meeting and getting to know the new principal this year I am confident that future families are in good hands and the nurturing environment will thrive under her new leadership and the vice principal and all staff are just fantastic .

Me and my family recently moved from the UK to Melbourne. My daughter has joined Corpus Christi, and she is very happy. The teachers and staffs are very supportive, caring, and approachable, which was a blessing for our family as the place and system are new to us. My daughter has severe allergies, and the staff was very compassioate and supportive.

There is a very strong sense of community within the school, and this is promoted throughout. The school is very dedicated to providing the children with a great education that covers a broad range of curriculum area and challenges children to reach their potential.

Innovative and creative methods are applied, such as planting seeds and watering to learn about the life cycle. In my view, children would learn better through these hands on learning method.

It has only been three months, and as parents, we have had plenty of chances to be included in children’s activities where we could see how they learn. We had the chance to get to know other parents through taking part in catholic mass and also been invited to parents’ morning tea and coffee section and ‘mothers day’ activity. This helps us to know more about the community and to be part of it. The school is focused on the big picture if nurturing children and bringing closeness in the community.

Overall, this is a very lovely school. As a family we love the community feel and engagement for both the children and families. This is an ideal school if you are looking for a school with great community, faith, values, and caring staff.

Today my kids are returning to school. I just have to give some feedback to the group as likely not everyone here has kids currently attending but it has to be said that they staff that they choose to hire for this absolutely awesome school are in my opinion, awesome because they are not fresh out of university, they have life experience and know how to cope with kids with special needs very well. I have 3 autistic kids, only 2 go to Corpus Christi, older son is at a special school as he is severe. The care and dedication provided by the staff (I won’t name names as it may breach privacy) is 2nd to none. for anyone who has kids younger than school age, especially if they have special needs like my kids, please consider sending them here. I can’t praise this school enough.
