I enrolled my son and he attend 50% of the 45 days scheduled. This school seriously was not up to my standards of education, curriculum or the mental capacity of the students or the administration. My son had Mr. Gallagher, he was very very nice and so understanding and kind. But my son did NOT acclimate well to the mental aptitude the other students displayed which reminded me of a 2nd grade class with a learning disability. I absolutely took my son and moved back to AZ. I was just honestly shocked the parents were not very flattering and the children just didn’t display a promising future if they stayed in this school system, do yourself a favor and just skip Fernley all together. It definitely was NOT my cup of tea .
So far so good. There have been some trying situations with the administration here. And Lyon county school district in general!
Staff is well educated, kind and personally invested in helping each child succeed. Great school! 🙂
