My little guy has been there since he was months old, and I have had the pleasure of observing the growth of not only him, but his classmates as well. I can say without a doubt that CDM offers an engaging and nurturing environment where each child is encouraged to thrive using his or her unique skillset. I can also attest to the fact that his social, spatial, and cognitive skills are well above the mark, and CDM has definitely played a large part in his development. On a personal note, it is wonderful to have a kid who doesn’t use plastic (cups or plates) at home, can clean up behind himself, understands being gracious, and fully understands the concepts of cause and effect. I attribute some of this to the folks at CDM. The first day he came home as a two-year old and pushed his chair in after a snack, I was floored. Update: He will be going to kindergarten in the fall, and I am happy to report that he surprised us by reading a book to us during our daily breakfast book ritual. He even threw in a bit of voice acting!
I am so thankful that we found this school for my son! He has attended for the last 2+ years and continues to develop and mature into a wonderful little boy. He enjoys his friends, teachers, and the administrative staff that makes it such a great place to go each day…. He is really given the space to learn new skills and be independent through the different work areas in class, he is able ‘to just be a kid’ by spending a lot of time outside, and is given consistent and patient guidance throughout the weekdays, by his teachers. Glad to have happened across this school and am also so thankful that he can spend his infant, toddler, and preschool years in one place, building relationships that will hopefully last for much longer.
