Also, the kids have a hard time with a lack of instruction in the classrooms, (compared to other schools) it is a self-paced, self- learning, self-grading curriculum. According to an education expert, this type of curriculum only works for a small percentage of kids- and according to her almost every kid that comes out of the school is far behind academically, where they need to be, which is the case, with at least two of my children, from struggling with this curriculum. Another education professional from another school confirmed the same thing.
Dont even get me started on the problems with the administration. It has been a major headache dealing with them. Everything started out great but has gone downhill overtime (communications with the administration) – sometimes being ignored, and being disrespected repeatedly. I wish I got my kids out of there sooner.
