The turnover in my sons classroom was so high due to Director Hannah Force dismissing teacher concerns related to overfilling classrooms. We lost good teachers b/c they refused to be treated so poorly. The teacher assigned to the room before we left in April was Ms. Riley. My experience of her was that she was cold, unapproachable, frequently absent, and often irritated by the two year olds in her class. I had staff reach out to me to encourage I take my son elsewhere b/c they’d witnessed his cognitive and social progress regress since Ms. Riley took over the classroom. I would spend afternoons in the classroom at the request of my toddler and not once did I ever see Ms. Riley so much as engage with the kids. She completed an assessment of my son and it made it very obvious she had not taken the time to build trust or a comfortable relationship. All in all I was very disappointed in this Covenant location. Concerns are dismissed and there’s no stability.
This place has been absolutely amazing!!!! Both of my kids have been through the curriculum and they were ready for kinder once that time came and I credit covenant for a big part of that. The staff/director are always available, kind and helpful. Another key point to touch on is the transparency in communication, this is one of the many strengths that I appreciate. I cannot think of a single time where a situation was not given the proper amount of attention. The environment always has a positive vibe. Every single morning not only was I greeted but so were my kids with happy smiles and a positive attitude from the staff. This consistent gesture may seem insignificant and small but, for my kids, it really sets the tone for the day. I cannot say enough positive things about this place. I appreciate the safe environment they have created for my kids and I would choose this place over again in a heartbeat.
