This place growing up was awful. I had death threats from other kids and then I ended up being placed in a Behavior Disorder class based on the fact I had ADHD and not because everyone else was picking on me and beating me up on a regular basis. This was of course 12 years ago when I was going here and I don’t expect the school to have changed much. If you love your kid, you’ll pick somewhere else to go. It took me getting a girl’s hands wrapped around my throat and being beat into the concrete in front of everyone for no reason for an adult to step in, no kids bothered and after that I was sent to be away from the rest of the student population because like sharks smelling blood in the water they went after the smallest, weakest girl they could find. If your child is in any way special to your heart. This is not the place for them. Their only saving grace were two teachers (one of whom I’m sure has retired) named Mrs. Morasch. Wonderful loving woman who brightened up my day between verbal abuse from other students. And Mr. Sayers. The BD room teacher. But even then those two teachers are not enough to speak well of a school who’s student body could care less about the needs of other’s unless they’re pounding the jollies out of anyone who so much as looks different or doesn’t wear popular clothes or doesn’t have many friends. Don’t bother with this place.
If there was a zero star id give it a zero I hate this school and hated going here the only good days I had here was when I skipped school. Most parents will tell there kid stay out of fight or don’t go near bad kids but your kid doesn’t have a choice the bullies come to them , the fights come to them . I would know because I went there . Even tho I didn’t want to fight I had to I didn’t have a lot of choices , you either have to defend yourself or get the s*** beaten out of you . By the end of the year I would get bullied so much, the last few weeks were the worst they would look for me all the time , try to get me when I’m alone so I would always try to be with someone didn’t matter who . Kids are mean and 2 faced . I had a teacher mrs.Morgan and the bullies did too. I would hate going to that class everyday I would hope some how I wouldn’t have to go . But i thought maybe the teacher would do something if she knew but boy was I wrong she just watched and split us apart and continue on her own business which left plenty of time for them to get me alone and if your kid goes to Covington and you think your kid is innocent boy are you wrong . That school is fully loaded with drugs…
