Firstly my daughter was bullied daily for over a year to which the school did nothing, after numerous written complaints ignored by the school (and they will literally ignore you) we had to get the police involved, this led to 2 girls getting a community resolution order from the police barring any contact or further bullying by the girls.
The school itself and especially the headmaster did absolutely nothing, the school even ignored the initial contact from the police regarding the bullying, and the police told the headmaster if he did not respond the police would go in to the school and see him directly, the headmaster/school then finally responded.
The school knew of the bullying, the school as well as having CCTV and teachers witnessing the bullying, were given proof of the bullying, and harassment that continued outside of the school and they still did nothing until the police were involved, the police visited both children’s homes and applied the community resolution order, only then did it stop, the headmaster will not do anything.
If that was not enough the school allowed our child to be bullied for over a year they was phoning us constantly saying our daughter was sick around lunch time, this went on for almost 2 years, we put this down to a child playing the system to get out of school, it turns out our daughter was eating breakfast at home, then snacks from the shop, going in to school and they were giving her yet another breakfast when she got there plus snacks, all before lunch, we were never informed about this, ever!, with our daughter being sick the school never once decided to tell us she was having another breakfast and snacks at school even though she was reporting being sick and lethargic.
We complained to the school about this, who were suppose to be looking in to it and contacting us back, also finding out why we were never informed of this extra food, we were ignored (surprise surprise), we put an official stage 1 complaint in to the school who responded they would not provide a breakfast but would provide fruit is she asked for it. We took this to stage 2 complaint due to this and the school ignoring our questions why we were never told, we handed in a letter of stage 2 complaint to the school, this was ignored and has taken over 3 months to get a response so far, this has been passed on to the Department Of Education due to the school ignoring their obligations in the complaints procedure.
Our daughter has a bad relationship with food that the school knows we are trying to deal with, so what does the school do, give her cooking classes and send her home with food that she is eating on the way home and hiding, we report this to the school who continue to send her home with food.
This place does NOT do homework, children are behind by the time they get here, so they do schooling for about 5 hours and give them zero homework, even if your child is out of school for any reason they will not send any work for them.
Classes are out of control so no real work is done, any child would be lucky to get any skills from here and if they do it will be down to the child not this so called school.
They do not enforce any exercise, if a child wants to just sit any exercise out they can.
This is an absolutely ridiculous place to send your child, if this place is on offer avoid it like the plague, anywhere is better than here, once your child is in here you are not a contact, they will ignore you whenever and for as long as they like, you will have to go through the complaints procedure to get anywhere and even that is ignored, get the contact details of the Department Of Education because you are going to need them.
