Worst experience from this run down school. My son was hospitalized for a week due to having Steven Johnsons Syndrome and I got an incredibly rude letter from the school saying that I could be turned in for him missing 7 days of school even though I called them everyday with updates on his condition. After calling the principal and not getting anykind of empathetic response, she wanted proof so we brought in the 7 page discharge packet that on page 4 stated his continued care and that doctors name, address of doctors office and phone number. A month later my son was up all night throwing up so the next day I kept him home and called in. A woman called me right back saying he can’t stay home sick without proper paperwork!!! What!!!! Have I entered the Twilight zone? What a nightmare this school is. Those who have never been to another school won’t know any better but those of us who have, know that this place is not seeing any tax dollars both structure wise and faculty wise. So after my 12 hour shifts at work I’ll get right on getting these cold people the paperwork they want….I’ll bring them his puke!
If the jersey barriers out in the student parking lot weren’t off limits, I would add a star.
If there wasn’t this one lady that kicks us out of every spot I try to hang out and do parkour at, I would add a star.
If Mr. Hokanson was never born, I would add a star.
If there was a real punching bag in the weight room, I would add a star.
You see where I’m going with this.
I miss my friends there since I moved 2 years ago and I knew all of them since kindergarten and I wish I could come back I hate it in salem everything has gone to crap and the students here at Central High School suck in independence and down there it is more fun but there education at crater really sucks!!!!!!!!!!
