The best decision my parents made was enrolling me in CVA 17 years ago Alhamdulilah.

My rigid Islamic foundation and character was built, guiding me through life as an American Muslim. It is hard growing up in the west and being Muslim, there is a sense of solitude. However at this school, you feel a sense of belonging. You feel part of an Ummah, a feeling that will stay with you forever. A feeling all young Muslims need.

As I continue to navigate my life, the lessons I learn throughout my education at CVA continue to guide me.

May Allah continue to bless this school , everyone part of it, all the students, parents and anyone who has shown support.

Special thank you to Sheikh Amjad for showing me love that of a father and being a great role model that I cherish until this day. May Allah reward him, I’ll never forget the warmth he gave us.

If you want to set your kids for success in this Dunya and THE Akhira, enroll them and foster their love for Islam.

It is a good school and my daughter loved it there. There are few issues that creates problem. One of them is following public school Holidays. This creates big issue for working parents. Like for summer vacation, school will be closed for pre school kids too. There are no summer camps for pre school kids and their parents are left in limbo while paying $700 for summer vacation months. If I am paying $700 to school as well as $1000 to $1200 to a day care, what’s the benefit?
This issue is discussed with board members as well as with principal and hopefully they will figure something out. My daughter started going to CMCC now as they have much better schedule.
If you can work around these issues, it’s not a bad school specially regarding Islamic education.
Advertizing themselves as the Muslims who’ll provide your child with the best environment for learning good behavior but all that they do is police your kids using fear, intimidation and fundamentalist scary believes. I currently do have a series dispute with this (so called Islamic school). Be aware of the administration people specially the principal with the worst conduct I have ever seen in any school system. And if you are a poor individual or with limited financial resources get ready to be abused if your kid gets in trouble with rich kids in that school. No Islam in that school as far as I’m concerned but nothing other than the flavor and image with the beards and clothing (no deferent than the Pharisees at the time of Jesus).
