Crosby Middle School has changed my life for the better in so many ways. Principal Kelly truly cares about each individual student. My first year at Crosby was as a seventh grader. I came from a small private school so as you can imagine I was very nervous my first day at Crosby. Within days I felt comfortable and now as an eighth grader on the voyagers team I am so thankful to God for putting me in this wonderful school! I love each and every one of my teacher and I know I can come to them if Im having any type of issue. Last year I was a seventh grader on the mariners team. I must say from personal experience Mr. Noah, the social studies teacher, is great, Ms. Morris the math teacher is sometimes a little harsh but is also great, Ms. Foster who is now an eighth grade language arts teach is wonderful, and Ms. Ellis can often get distracted but is fun to be around. Mr. Jenkins and Ms. Marzian are wonderful teachers as well. The eighth grade voyager teachers are just as amazing. Ms. Kirk the science teacher, Ms. Gleeson the language arts teacher, Ms. Hardesty the Spanish teacher, Ms. Cockrill, the computer teacher, Mr. Fadsolt the math teacher, and Mr. Harris the social studies teacher are all great and caring teachers. Finally I want to thank Ms. Estes for being there always and Ms. Knott the sweetest, most caring teacher I have ever known. I will truly miss all of my teachers when I leave because they have all shown me how to be true to myself and watched me grow throughout the years. I believe I owe all the thanks to them and God for enabling me to get into DuPont Manual, The high school of my dreams. I say once again Crosby is a great school and you will fit in no matter what your height, hair color, or race.
Crosby’s staff is so rude! When a teacher asks you to go into the hallways or you have to use the bathroom or anything that requires you to leave class, there are always various staff members who are just standing in the hallways and waiting for a student to come by so they can interrogate them and yell at them. (If you think I’m exaggerating, apply to Crosby yourself and you’ll see what I’m talking about.) One time, this lady named Mrs. Hughes was talking to two other people and she blocked me with her tree trunk arm and got this extremely unnecessary bad attitude. I just rolled my eyes and moved on. The staff are definitely the worst part of Crosby. Some staff are nice though. Like Mr. Sehlinger, and Mr. Etter. Mrs. Estes has to be the worst. I cannot stand her. If you decide to go to Crosby, watch out for the staff members.
