I came for a basic facial hoping to treat myself just a little bit. I have had several facials at various beauty schools as well as full service spas, and the schools I went to were always clean, professional, attentive to detail, and I left feeling relaxed and refreshed. However after moving to Bristol I decided to try Crown Cutz. I booked a European facial and was very excited. When I came in, the facial room was very dirty and not clean or professional at all. I decided to take a chance and proceed, but was not impressed at all. The facial itself was alright but there was no steam used at all (????) which is my favorite part of a facial, there was another woman in the room loudly playing on her phone and conversing with the student who was doing my service. And worst of all, the entire time I was laying on the table receiving the facial, all I could think about was the fact that I was smelling this woman’s breath which smelt like she hadn’t brushed her teeth in a VERY long time. I was disgusted, if you are going to be performing services in close contact with people then you need to keep up with basic hygiene because that’s just nasty.

I wanted to give a huge shoutout to all of the amazing barbers “artists” that work at Crown Cutz Academy! I butchered my son’s hair trying to make it look nice for his Middle School open house and they saved the day by giving him the most amazing haircut ever! We are truly grateful and blessed that they helped build his confidence and made him look awesome for his open house! Thank you so very much from the bottom of our hearts! To the owner I remember the tips you gave to me for future reference and put them in my phone under notes so that I can’t ever forget, tysvm and I look forward to the bonding time with my son!
