Before I get into the negative aspect of this review I want to touch on the positives. Terri, one of the instructors is great, extremely knowledgeable, funny and has created a very relaxing and positive environment. I can tell she empowers her students and gives them confidence. I have been having one of their students, Kaitlin, cut my hair for a while now and I have seen her grow tremendously as a stylist and will continue to go to her after she graduates next month. All this being said, their new instructor who’s name I believe is Kristen is absolutely awful. Kaitlin asked her to check the line on the back of my neck and she immediately took over without talking to me or Kaitlin about what the plan was for my hair and began butchering it. She knows less than her students about cutting men’s hair and her demeanor is repulsive, probably the reason she teaches as opposed to working in a salon.
My daughter and I went to get our hair done today. Rachel Shipe and Ellie Dunn were our hairstylists. These two lovely ladies were beyond incredible stylists to us. They listened to what we wanted and they both were so sweet and very gentle. They both did an fantastic job on our hair and we both came out feeling so beautiful. Unfortunately for us they are about to graduate however wherever they go after cosmetology school they are going to thrive and be an huge asset to their hair studio. Thank you girls for being so good to us and making us look gorgeous! Good luck to you both 🙂
