School has bullying issues. Not addressed by staff even when told and bully identified. Just dismissed as non issue. Had to remove our child from the school to prevent further mental trauma and severe anxiety from daily verbal bullying in and out of classroom. And minimal support and care is given to bullied child. Instead the child is isolated when reacting to the bullying trauma and bully let off the hook. Really extremely disappointing. School should take bullying seriously. Bullies never change. They grow into bigger bullies in high school later on. Qld education dept needs to do more to stop bullying in schools.
Both our children go to Currumbin State School. The teachers and staff are wonderful and caring. The school cares for the community and have great values. I highly recommend this school.
I love this school so much, the teachers was very warming and the playground is very nice. This school is the best of schools
The school has changed a lot over the years learning about its histor y is so much fun there are excelent teachers the principal even comes out to play with the kids at break a very tight nick community its by favirote place ever they also offer great excelence program for students who are excelling
A number of students at this school have skipped grades cause it would have been 2 easy there is a chaplency program to help strugling students and great leadership opertunitys and excersions there is a fabulous music program including band strings and choir as well as fantastic caps its the best school ever
Awesome school. All 4 of my children attended here.
