This school will not teach you anything. You will have to use your clock hours here to teach yourself through YouTube and your textbook. It is unstructured and you get almost none (mostly superficial and unhelpful) one on one or human instruction. You will sometimes be expected to supply products and tools. You may lose clock hours, have to redo a test or spend extra hours here you will not get credit for because of their unorganized and unprofessional owners/teachers. The school is FILTHY, to put it kindly. The owner didnt even try to keep the students safe and comfortable (let people in to use the bathroom, smoke inside, no air/heat, not enough soap/paper towels/toilet seat covers…) and would expect the students to keep up the school while on their clock hours. They have unrealistic and petty expectations of students when they cannot even provide INSTRUCTION. The owner is a joke and I dont know how she still hasnt been shut down.
NEVER EVER waiste your time or money coming to this school. The school is in fact filthy, not up to date, & at time instructors will let YouTube do their job. I graduated from this school & on my graduation DAY the owner miscalculated my hours & I was not able to graduate. The bundle of tools you’re given to get started with are all extremely cheap not professional quality but you will pay a professional price. The school is extremely cold you will have to layer up. The owners of this school truly do not care for your education & only want your money. Please seek other Cosmetology school options.
Been going here for years as a client. Facials, haircuts, pedicures. No complaints, although the students are pretty much left on their own. At other schools the teachers are more involved and watchful of students actions. If I was having chemical treatment of the hair – color, highlights etc or some of the more involved facials (chemical peel, light treatment etc) I wouldn’t do it here but for the other procedures, the students have usually done well!
PLEASE REMEMBER TO TIP YOUR STUDENT (even just a couple bucks if u have it!)
