this school is the worst. i’ve been going my entire childhood (2007-2014) and would not recommend sending your child there. my particular complaint is the ableism the teachers had against children with disabilities and singling them out, belittling them for having focusing problems. especially the MUSIC teacher, ms. jason, has a huge problem with this just for teaching MUSIC lmao. i wish they’d shut this school down. it’s not worth sending your child here, trust me
My son attends Dater and I could not ask for a better place to send my child. the teachers are so great and supportive. It truly is a community supporting one another (teachers, children, and parents), working together. My son loves it!
I go to dater and it is the cleanest most supportive school, it is better than all the other elementary schools in cps.
