This school has been the worst mistake I could make for my oldest child. My daughter was new to the school and was attacked by another little girl within 2 weeks of school. She was literally followed into the bathroom by 4 girls, one whom was recording. There was a little girl who was attacked in a bathroom in New York who never made it home, she died.

Since then, my daughter received a citation for assault even though she acted in self defense, there was no other way out of the situation. As a taxpayer, I am appalled at how this has been handled for a child who has never been in trouble, never had a referral, and never been in a fight.

I now have to fight for her freedom, her record, and her rights because our system has failed her. I have to fight for my sanity and a judicial system who is biased against African Americans.

The site supervisor whom try to break up the fight was not coached, trained, and/or prepared to do so. She went in between flying hands in was injured in the midst of it all unfortunately. Upon investigation, they concluded that it was not my daughter but yet I have to face arraignment charges.

My daughter was the new girl at school and her experience was to be bullied, a 5 day suspension, and a citation because she could not exercise her right to self defense.

BEWARE!!!

I am a student at this school and I will admit the school has not changed I have been at the school since kindergarten and this school year it’s the worse there are much more fights and one case where there a bad fight to the point where the cops had to show up and bring one of the staff members to the hospital nobody is trained to really stop fights and the principal does nothing she gives out little “announcements” nobody even listens to and the problem with the school lunch they give us rubbery chicken and it’s undercooked it’s disappointing to see my home school go down like this. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH HOSPITAL BILLS AND GIVING THEM THERAPY
At first I believed it was just the struggle to adjust to a new school, but now I can see that it’s the lack of supervision. My little one being blamed for things she didn’t do and getting punished for trying to quiet down her classmates so she could hear the teacher better. Tried to speak with them, tried getting help from them, but nothing. She’s completely traumatized of this school and is always getting pushed around by her peers. Office staff and the few yard duty people I’ve met are nice and kind, but I see no help when it comes to the occurrences in class. I’m tired of it! So, not even worth a single star! Only gave those for the nice office staff.
