Excellent school overall. It is impeccably clean and comfortable. The dedication and effort that Ms Kim and Ms Kate invest in the PreK class are truly admirable. Additionally, MS Sharon is a gem who wholeheartedly watches out for all the children. The director (Ms Amy) is engaged, well-informed about the classrooms and all the children, and is consistently available to parents.
They embrace the STEAM program, blending structured education with enjoyable fun and play. Each day you receive detailed records and photos via an app that begins with the time signed in, meal selections and intake amount, (bathroom activity until preschool – age 3) the weeks’ focus and a thorough rundown of the days learning experiences including naps until sign out. The playground is in a safe area, spacious and shaded from too much sun (which you will appreciate in the summer) The staff communicates consistently and timely ensuring you are always in the loop for everything.
The school is nested away from busy streets and has plenty of parking for pickup – which you will eventually find value in at the end of your day when you are trying to quickly get in and out for pickup.

Were so thankful for Davie Academy, especially our amazing teachers Ms.Kim, Ms. Kate and last year teacher Ms.Sharon ??my child came to Ms.Kims class not speaking any English, and has improved and has grown in skills so much within one year! Now my child speaks fluently, and has so much fun with other kids doing activities at school. I really appreciate that we have such a great contact and communication with Ms.Kim and Ms.Kate and the school director. I love that I receive the pictures during the day via a special app and I always know what my child has done this day. I love that the kids have a nap or just some quiet rest time during the day (so few schools offer that). Carpool is also super convenient as you dont have to look for the parking and the teachers are safely picking up your kid and the backpack from your car. I know that my child is in safe and caring hands and I really appreciate all the support from the teachers and the director that we have had this year and counting. ??
Ms. Kim is a fenomenal teacher. We are so lucky to have her. Both our daughter and son went to Davie Academy. My son is four, it’s his second year at Davie Academy, and he is reading fluently already. It is the best preschool in town! Management, administration (Ms Amy), parent communication, STEM, technology… There’s nothing we would say they would do better! We get pictures, what the kids did, what they ate and what they will do next day EVERY DAY! It’s the closest it can get to actually sitting next to them. We hear everything from the school before the kids say anything. We feel like the school is part of family. My daughter is in elementary now, Davie Academy has set such a high bar for us. If they had K12, we’d definitely stick with them.
