We have been blessed to bring our kids to Del Mattino Montessori for the past almost eight years. Our daughter was there for five years, and our son has been there for the past three years. This place has become our second home, and Miss Olivia is like a second mom to our children. If you are looking for an affordable Montessori school, look no further. Miss Olivia takes immense pride in everything she does. I truly believe she is “the” teacher each child will remember for the rest of their lives. She loves every kid, treats them with respect (no yelling in the classroom), and deeply cares for them.

Academically, most kids come out of Del Mattino Montessori more advanced than others. Our daughter was reading and doing multiplication by the time she was five. They practice yoga once a month, which helps with their physical and mental well-being. The children also get ample time outdoors, going outside twice a day for 30 minutes. In the summer, they enjoy eating and playing outside, which adds to their enjoyment and learning experience.

Miss Olivia’s dedication to her students is evident in every aspect of the school. The nurturing environment she creates allows children to thrive both academically and personally. We are incredibly grateful for the positive impact Del Mattino Montessori has had on our children, and we highly recommend it to any parents looking for a caring and rewarding educational experience for their kids.

A notable feature is the consistency in teaching staff, with the same teachers for years, providing stability and security. Ms. Olivia’s alumni often qualify for CPS gifted programs, reflecting the high-quality education.

My daughter loves it so much she runs to her school!! Her behavior often draws compliments, showcasing the school’s positive influence. When I enrolled her to Del Mattino, I was initially worried about the mixed-age classroom (my daughter was very young at that time), but the older kids were very caring and protective, both in and out of school.

The school builds a strong community, with families frequently meeting for activities outside of school, and alumni visiting regularly.

Not the least important aspect, the school’s tuition is also very affordable for a Montessori school offering excellent education and care.
