This school used to be good or above average but know it’s way below average. The front office is not even close to being professional it seems they pick and choose when they want to be nice and most of the time there rude. It seems they rather not deal with things or just give attitude. There also not helpful or informative. It’s sad that there paid not to do there jobs correctly and they think they can be this way to parents. They need to be accountable for being this way and I’m thinking about going in front of the board on this and many other issues with this school. They should put professional people and people that act professional in the a position were your dealing with people on a everyday basis. They need to put there personal grudges and feelings aside when there working for a school. Believe me I personally will make sure something will be done if things don’t change I’ll will be calling the district and emailing board members on all the issues. Next step is making sure that the district is aware and then taking the proper steps to make sure or children and us parents are treated with the utmost professionalism and get the best answers when we as parents ask anything.
I will start off by saying that the ONLY 2 problems in this school are the 2 front office receptionist. The older lady with glasses and the younger one with dark hair. EVERY time my mother or myself have gone for x reason, we get treated HORRIBLY . We can easily be standing there for 5 minuets and we are not acknowledged until minuets later and when we are acknowledged we are NOT greeted with a smile nor a good morning or good afternoon, but more with a frown and a what do you want stare. This school will be better with two front office receptionist that LOVE their jobs and who are not JADED and MISERABLE. Other than that the lady at the drop off section is super nice , so is the one at the cross walk. Ms. Matthewson 5th grade teacher is great . The school will be great if they worked on how parents are treated in the front office. It makes you wonder if students are treated the same . As far a safety is considered ,it is a relatively safe school.
The teachers are great. The staff needs to get it together and know what is going on in the school. I called the office to see if there was an award ceremony and the lady said no but my child got an award. Bullying is another subject that needs a looking at my child was getting bullied and other children as well and they did not take it seriously. I really liked this school about 4 years ago when my children were younger but the staff has changed. Very dissatisfied with the changes made to this school. My children were super excited to come back to this school this year and now they couldn’t be happier to leave. Some of there office staff needs to be trained in compassion. I have been in the office when children have come in and the way they talk to them is just sad.
