This review is from a student who attended the school for seven to eight years. While the school itself is satisfactory, I recommend considering other options after the completion of primary school. The secondary school environment presents challenges such as vaping, dating, and bullying among students. While the primary school education is adequate, the secondary teachers, with a few exceptions, are not as competent. Additionally, the school rarely organizes field trips, despite the significant tuition fees. Some teachers exhibit favoritism, and certain student behaviors raise concerns. The school’s enforcement of rules is inadequate, relying solely on report cards for behavioral compliance. Maintaining good behavior is crucial to avoid potential expulsion. In conclusion, while the primary school experience may be acceptable, the secondary education at this institution is subpar.
I am extremely pleased with the education and overall experience my son has received at Diyafah International School MBZ 13. The teachers are dedicated and knowledgeable, the facilities are top-notch, and there is a strong focus on academic excellence. I would highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a high-quality education for their child. Thank you, Diyafah International School, for providing a nurturing and enriching environment for my son to thrive in.
Horrible school! The teachers do not teach, cannot organize any events successfully, and never care about student issues. There are many cases of bullying and inappropriate issues (which I will not disclose). The school is too expensive for what is offered. I do not recommend this school to any parent or student. Enroll your student in a better school that provides the basic necessities for education.
Diyafah International School is one of the best British schools in Abu Dhabi. The school fees are affordable, the facilities are excellent, the staff is very professional, and teachers deliver the curriculum to a high standard. Both my children attended DIS from when we first came to Abu Dhabi until we relocated to another country (10 years). We wish Diyafah International School continued success in the future.
Thank you for helping me register my child. Everything went smoothly. Contact via WhatsApp was very helpful, and the person who gave advice responded to questions very quickly. It was a very nice experience.
After visiting this school, all the way from Dubai, they didn’t guarantee admission. For KG1 and KG2, there is no exam or criteria, yet they asked us to send our child for a 3-day trial.

They then called us for a meeting without communicating over the phone whether they would accept our child for Term 3. They want us to travel 40 km just to hear their decision?

After setting up a new home and business, do we really have time for several meetings, especially when we are incredibly busy?

Please don’t waste your time on this school. They only call you back after two days, and FYI, there is no assessment required for KG1 and KG2.

P.S. If there is no seat available, please communicate directly rather than wasting someone’s time.

This school provides very cheap-quality education at a very expensive price. Teachers speak English that is more like Indian English than standard English. The school tries to feign elegance to cover for its high expenses. This is done through native English-speaking supervisors and floods of emails every day. They care too much that you buy uniforms, fill out forms, and attend meetings. The teachers send emails about teaching programs that you should study so you can (almost get your degree in education) teach your kids after they come home from school at 4 pm and before they sleep at 8 pm. The children are very busy at school going upstairs and downstairs and taking books from the library (they will not read them, but it looks good to report that kids borrow books from the library). You will find your son erasing everything he writes to rewrite it like printed letters because this is the priority for his teacher living in the 19th century. When visitors come, she will show them the kids’ handwriting as proof of excellence, while the kids learn incorrect English and cannot read or do math. The school is preoccupied with collecting money (more than any other school) and you get nothing at all for that money. They don’t think about kids or education at all.
