My daughter is in first grade and this is her first year at Achziger. I must say I am highly disappointed with this school. It started with registration. The teachers/staff are very rude. I sat in the office ignored for nearly 20 minutes before someone even bothered to ask me if I had been helped. Then once I got helped it got even worse. The lady argued with me about not being able to use an electric bill as proof of residency although the paper work states a gas electric or water bill. I just dont understand why they are so rude. As a mom to a small child it is very important for me to teach her to be nice to others and to say please and thank you and to know she is around people at her school that dont follow these same morals really bothers me, Now to start with the first day of school not one person says good morning to us nor do they offer any help on where we are supposed to go. When I pick my daughter up they are literally talking to the kids like they are dumb and cant hear. Telling them over and over to sit not once saying please or thank you. I dont know about you but this also bothers me. Second day same exact problems. No one greets you or offers to help you where to go. I was told that after the first week of school parents arent even allowed to walk their kids to where they are supposed to go. To bothers me as well considering how no one helps the kids. They just walk around looking lost. Now we are on our third day and I have still not seen anyone say good morning to the kids or parents. I do not want my child around these rude teachers all day. I can only imagine how they act once all the parents are out. I am highly unsatisfied and I will be looking into getting my daughter into a different school. Until then I will just pray for strength to make it through. I forgot to add that this morning I walked my daughter to the cafeteria and if the kids arent eating they have to sit in a line on the floor. Are they serious with this? The floor is disgusting. I just dont understand how hard it is to set up some extra tables for them to sit at. They are just asking for kids to get sick sitting on the floor getting all dirty.
Really great, my two daughters go there, the staff is really nice, and there are several cools ways to earn things. For the younger kids I am told the are “star bucks” and the old kids have house points. The school is great, easy commute, it’s about 10-15 min if you live somewhat far. The kids are kind to students who have been there for the whole year, and to the ones who are new. The students can easily adapt to being at the school and my FAVORITE thing is that there are bilingual classes. Now, although not ALL languages have their own class, there are spanish and english classes in which I think are great for those who talk mostly spanish in their house and cannot understand or speak english as well. Oh, did I tell you there are pre-K classes? So as far as it goes, I hope this review helps if you just moved or if you have a child coming into pre-k or kindergarten.
Me gusta y estoy contenta con la educación y enseñanza que le han dado a mis hijos,mi hijo Nathan termino ahí su primaria y quiero que mi hija Rebecca, termine ahí también ya que también reciben cariño de parte de los maestros.
