This school is not interested in the kids reaching their best self. If your child falls behind there is NO PLAN for remediation, you have to figure that out completely on your own outside of the school, while the teachers tell you they are fine, they will get it after while and put zeros on their assignments. Seems like a way to weed out children who would make the schools scores go down. My children were sent home loads of homework, 2 worksheets every single day and these were heavy worksheets, that required multiple steps. Also had spelling tests and sight word tests every other week, very intense for kindergarten. I saw my daughters love for learning dwindle quickly. Administration treated the kids like they were in a military or something Walk faster, hurry up sickening. School was new and classrooms were small, so no social distancing at all.
Edited to add: I was very involved in my childrens education. There were multiple meetings with the teachers. There were NO further interventions that they provided or recommended in addition to small groups.
I cannot recommend this school enough to families! Our children are happy and engaged daily. They are receiving a well-rounded education complete with a STEAM curriculum, learning a second language, and making memories with friends. The staff and administration have welcomed us with open arms and have provided a loving environment. This is a great school for families who want their children to learn how to think outside the box while setting them up for a bright future.
