I love this school. The teachers, administrators and staff here are wonderful, responsive and very caring! So far we’ve not ran into a non-super cool teacher yet (3 years)! Nothing is perfect, and everyone can improve – so administrators keep improving! One thing they don’t have is access to technology for the kids, but the district is going that route with the new Superintendent. They’ve provided Microsoft 365 for all students in the district for free to encourage the use at home! They cleaned house throughout the district when the new Superintendent took over and Hernandez Middle School’s Principal was replaced (next in line if you go to Double File). Been keeping tabs on them as some people were selling their house and moving to avoid the Middle School. It sounds like they are turning them around so our house will remain with us, and we’ll go to Hernandez.
If I could I would give this school ZERO STARS! ! IF you are coming from a Pflugerville district, this school is ?? no go! Anyways they have very poor communication! And to me communication is always key . They try to act like dummies when questions are asked about STARR testing. Really ???????? . I guess we are going to have e to deal with it, since we are new to the area. I’m so looking g for a better school in the Round Rock area, for next year. Any suggestion?
