Thank you Joseph B.! Joseph is a great instructor; he’s calm, thorough, and knowledgeable. He helped me feel confident and well prepared for my road test by having me drive to new neighborhoods to do mock tests. Before my sessions with Joseph B., I had a handful of lessons with Sam and Andrew. Each instructor has their own style, and I encourage you to meet with several different instructors while you’re learning to drive and preparing for your test. Overall, I took 12 lessons (nine 45-minute & three 90-minute). Each instructor had different techniques so I was able to choose what worked best for me. Since they’re all quite booked, I recommend that you book everything in advance so that you can have lessons once or twice every week until you’re ready to take your test. I took my test using their car and booked everything through Drive Rite. They really accommodated my scheduling needs and everything was very smooth. Passed with only 5 points off!
I purchased the new drivers package with 8 lessons, the 5 hour course, and the road test included around the end of March. Since then, Ive been taking lessons with Joseph B, who was such a major help and great instructor (as well as Ian), especially for someone like me who had major driving anxiety. I just took my road test and passed, and I owe it to these lessons for building my confidence and preparing me. Drive Rite also dealt with a concern I had with a less than positive experience with a different instructor and gave me back a lesson due to the negative experience. Overall, I highly recommend Drive Rite!
Overall, I had a pleasant experience with Drive Rite Academy. The prices were affordable for the lessons I selected. They were flexible with my schedule as they could get considering how quickly they would get booked. Out of the 2 instructors I practiced with, Sam was by far the best as he was informative and demonstrative of how to better understand the road and what was expected of me during my Road Test. Thanks to Sam, I passed my Road Test on my first try. I highly recommend this place to anyone pushing to get their license.
