Very unpleasant experience. Had an appointment today (29.05.2024) at 9:10 today and registered at 9:12 came up to the second floor but originally it was 3rd and a different doctor. I had to wait for 50 minutes to fill out a form. When a woman finally came out, she told me that because I was 20 minutes late for my appointment, it would be delayed. I insisted that I was on time and even confirmed it with the receptionist, but it turned out that they had lied. This unprofessional and disappointing experience left me very frustrated.
I’ve been from may 2023 to December 2023 to have a upper denture made . Honestly I feel like a ginny pig and the denture is not correct. When I got my first appointment they told me that they would do it properly but no luck. I don’t want nhs dentures as they not professionals. I feel that they just use us for students to train
It’s a shame when you get uncaring people on the phone working in health care. Really rude and cold Scottish lady who answered the phone. Maybe the wrong sector to work in. No empathy and kept saying “we are busy” in the middle of the afternoon. Very impatient tone and ended with an elevated “byyyyye”. Really rude and unprofessional. I would be reprimanded at work if it was me
I have had to attend here twice recently including this morning on each occasion to have roots removed where teeth had broken off. I was attended to each time by Amanda Campbell and her team. On the first occasion a couple of trainees were also present. I cannot thank enough all concerned for making me feel so at ease and for explaining everything that was happening. One of the roots was very obstinate but Amanda remained totally calm and the sheer professionalism demonstrated, reflected the highest quality of dentistry. Thank you all once again.
Needed emergency treatment this morning. Spoke to admin. (Jill) and she directed me to triage. I was given an appointment this afternoon and received immediate treatment. The whole team was fabulous -from admin. to the dentist and dental nurses. This service was extremely efficient and I cannot thank staff enough. This is a wonderful NHS service and I am grateful to have experienced the NHS at its best.
