Had a horrible experience with the 4th Grade Spanish Immersion Teacher Mrs Cowley. My child is ADHD & had 504 plan. We had several meetings to promote communication between the teacher & us to assist our special needs child in succeeding. We finally brought in the district & she said all of the right things. We only learned that she had lied and refused to communicate & help support our child several months later once we received failing progress reports. We again went to the district. Apparently teachers are allowed to do whatever they want and not honor agreements or 504 plans with no consequences. If you have a child with special needs PLEASE find a different teacher.
It’s amazing school and great teachers my kids love Grimmer and the best principal ever Mrs Nye who doesn’t sit in her desk taking care all details in the school welcome everyone with a hug and a smile she’s like a bee ??
